The National Meetup 2021 tour and numerous Alberta trips for TFCG were a big success. Met with 500+ participants and have 85,000+ trunk images to process.
More Alberta trunks photographed by Carmen (UL) and Dennis (all others). These trunk images will be used in the Spirit Circle component of The Forest – Common Ground ® project along with spirit mask portraits to honor Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) and/or family members and Residential School survivors. The portraits in these trunks are: Judith (UL – sister of Laurel, killed in a car accident [the “official explanation); and Bob (UR), Darrel (LR) and Butch (LL), all Residential School survivors. All of the trunks will be arranged in a large circle – the portrait image “floats out” from the trunk when viewed with special glasses.

La tournée National Meetup 2021 et les nombreux voyages en Alberta pour TFCG ont été un grand succès. J'ai rencontré plus de 500 participants et j'ai plus de 85 000 images de troncs à traiter.
Autres malles de l'Alberta photographiées par Carmen (UL) et Dennis (tous les autres). Ces images de troncs seront utilisées dans le volet Spirit Circle du projet The Forest – Common Ground ® avec des portraits de masques spirituels pour honorer les femmes et filles autochtones disparues et assassinées (MMIWG) et/ou les membres de leur famille et les survivants des pensionnats. Les portraits contenus dans ces malles sont : Judith (UL – sœur de Laurel, tuée dans un accident de voiture [l'« explication officielle ») ; et Bob (UR), Darrel (LR) et Butch (LL), tous survivants des pensionnats. Toutes les malles seront disposées dans un grand cercle – l’image du portrait « flotte » hors de la malle lorsqu’elle est vue avec des lunettes spéciales.
